CoinEx, one of the most important Asian exchanges, has conducted the rebrand of Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA), and redenominated it to eCash today.

The exchange had announced it would support the new currency last month when it was coordinated. At the time, the official release stated:
According to BitcoinCash ABC(BCHA) official announcement, BitcoinCash ABC(BCHA) plans to rebrand to eCash(XEC) at the ratio of 1:1,000,000 on July 1, 2021(UTC). CoinEx will support the rebrand and token redenomination, and handle all technical issues for all BCHA holders.
However, the exchange failed to fulfill this announcement at the time announced. July 1st passed and the rebrand was not applied. But, yesterday, the exchange stated the rebrand would be effective July 6, and explained the process it would undergo to achieve it. The new statement explained that trading of eCash would start at 10 AM UTC.
The rebrand was conducted flawlessly, and now customers of CoinEx can conduct trading in its platform using eCash (XEC). The exchange opened two pairs for trading: XEC/USDT & XEC/BCH. At the time of writing, XEC volumes in teh exchange have been growing and trading is being conducted normally.
CoinEx joins other few exchanges that have already rebranded BCHA to XEC. While Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volumes, announced it would support this redenomination last month, it still has not implemented these changes in its trading platform.CoinEx Exchange Applies eCash Rebrand: New Pairs Now Available
