Block 709391 - 710365

With Bitcoin reaching new all time high and most top 50 coins also closed the week with a positive result newer investors saw their determination and patience tested. The Bitcoin ABC team seems unfazed by all of it as it continues to build and work on accomplishing the goals. Regardless, let's take a closer look at what happened this Week in eCash.

XEC Article by Ivan on Tech Found.
With the internet buzzing with XEC and general crypto information and news, at times something interesting is missed. An article focusing on eCash (XEC) posted on the Moralis Academy website and written by well known YouTube crypto influencer Ivan on Tech is a good example of that. Published on September 28, a link to “Exploring eCash and the XEC token” was first noticed by the eCash community on October 19th when the official eCash Twitter account shared a link to it. As such the article deserved a place in The Week in eCash even though it was published before.

Part 2 takes a higher view of what crypto and a system like eCash can offer to the world, the hurdles and how Séchet sees the future of financial systems, money and human freedom. Muratori’s followers are not typically involved in crypto but are all very technical and so it is no surprise that at some points the content digs deep into the inner workings, its qualities and shortcomings. They nonetheless are interesting and informative interview sessions also for less technical parties interested in eCash (XEC)

This Weeks Market Action
Another trying week for eCash holders and traders as the price slipped further down as Bitcoin and other major crypto currencies gained steam and Bitcoin (BTC) even managed to break through and reach a new all time high of 67K USD before settling down at slightly lower levels. The positive market sentiment was not limited to Bitcoin as most top 50 coins ended the week with green numbers.
Unfortunately eCash XEC was amongst the exceptions. Although a tweet at the beginning of the week showed it to be ranked 3 on a chart showing 90 days performance of top 50 crypto currencies (showing still as BCHA on that graphic), the more short term charts show a less positive picture. Starting the week at a price of $0.00020866 eCash (XEC) price declined all week with considerable volatility in the middle of the week and a bottom of $0.00018219 on Wednesday to close Saturday night at a price of $0.00019354. A further loss of 7.24% while slipping from rank #49 end of last week, out of the top 50 to market cap ranking #52.
Fundamental development work on the eCash protocol, infrastructure software and governance models continues to show steady progress. Interest continues to grow for the project and its developers. eCash NEWS Today will continue to monitor and report on what is happening and how eCash (XEC) is performing on the global crypto currency markets,
